Academic Mentor – Oxbridge Mentoring

We are a secondary school in Newham, East London seeking academically‑gifted graduates to act as Academic Mentors from September 2026. The role supports pupils in KS3 and KS4, raising attainment and inspiring them toward top universities.

• Support students in your subject specialism in class, small groups and 1:1 sessions.
• Deliver targeted GCSE intervention and revision support.
• Act as a positive academic role model, encouraging study skills, confidence and future aspirations.
• Support pupils across core subjects when required.

• 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a reputable university;
  Russell Group or top‑university graduates encouraged.
• Strong understanding of GCSE curriculum and university pathways.
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to engage, motivate and support students of all abilities.
• Commitment, resilience and ambition to succeed.

Full‑time, long‑term contract from September 2026 to July 2027. £110 – £120 per day. Opportunities for salaried teacher training from September 2027 for successful candidates.
