Overview

The School of Engineering and Materials Science invites applications for a Teaching Associate with a Mechanical Engineering background to support undergraduate teaching activities.

Responsibilities

Assist with undergraduate teaching activities and support in the classroom and laboratory.
Tutor students, assess coursework, and facilitate key skills and problem-based learning activities.
Contribute to the School's outreach activities.
Support teaching on campus in line with the timetable.

Qualifications

On track to or holding a postgraduate degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience.
Knowledge of the subject at undergraduate and postgraduate level and the ability to present specialist material clearly to students and fellow specialists.
