About the School
All Boys Secondary School located in South West London, a non‑selective state secondary school for boys aged 11‑16 with a mixed sixth form. The school was founded in 1931 and currently has just under 1,000 pupils enrolled.
Position OverviewThis is a full‑time fixed‑term teaching position, starting in September. The role will primarily involve teaching Year 7 to Year 11 science classes, with the possibility of adding some KS5 physics lessons to the timetable in the future.
CompensationThe day rate for this position ranges from GBP 195 to GBP 270, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Teach Year 7‑11 science/physics lessons.
- Plan and deliver engaging science curriculum.
- Assess students’ progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school objectives.
- Potentially incorporate KS5 physics lessons in future.
- Right to work in the UK.
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent.
- Clear and up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS.
- Experience teaching physics in UK schools.
