Working alongside experienced pastoral leaders, therapists and teaching staff, you'll support pupils in developing emotional regulation, resilience and positive engagement with learning. The school takes a proactive approach to behaviour, focusing on understanding the reasons behind behaviour rather than simply managing its consequences. Staff receive specialist training in trauma-informed practice, de-escalation techniques and restorative conversations, ensuring pupils receive consistent and meaningful support.

Building positive mentoring relationships with pupils Supporting emotional regulation throughout the school day Delivering structured wellbeing and mentoring sessions Promoting positive behaviour using restorative approaches Working alongside teachers to implement personalised support plans Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence The successful Behaviour & Wellbeing Mentor will:
