Role

As the Programme Leader for Games & Media, you will take a leading role in the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our curriculum. You will inspire and support both staff and students, ensuring our programmes remain industry-relevant and deliver excellent outcomes. Your leadership will help shape the future of creative education within our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, planning, and management of Games & Media programmes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and student needs.
  • Coordinate and support teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme performance, implementing improvements to enhance student achievement and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners to facilitate work placements, guest speakers, and curriculum relevance.
  • Manage resources effectively to support high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and induction of new students and staff within your programme area.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and awarding body requirements.
  • Champion inclusivity, diversity, and student support throughout the programme lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Games Development, Media, Digital Arts, or a closely related subject.
  • Proven experience in programme leadership or course management within the education sector, preferably at further or higher education level.
  • Strong understanding of the Games & Media industry, including current trends and employer expectations.
  • Experience designing and delivering curriculum that meets quality standards and enhances student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to student‑centred learning and fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and regulatory frameworks in education.
