OR– Internal Quality Assessor – Childcare, Health and Social Care

PAYE: £30.00 per hour

• qualifications (Relevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above, English and Maths qualifications at Level 2 or above)
• Hours per week to be discussed.
• To assess learners on childcare vocational programmes and ensure that e-portfolios and/or paper-based portfolios meet awarding body and internal quality assurance requirements.
• To support learners to make progress and achieve within agreed timescales, contributing to high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across the Adult Learning Service.
• Communicate effectively with learners, employers and colleagues, acting as a point of contact for the service.
• Provide information, guidance and support to learners and stakeholders, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Work with colleagues and managers to identify areas for improvement in delivery and assessment practice.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with service and awarding body requirements.
• Plan and arrange assessment activity, including workplace observations, and liaise with learners and employers / supervisors.
