Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

About the roleWe are looking for an experienced strategic leader to lead belonging, inclusion and accessible practice across EFI Group. The role will drive the development and delivery of our Belonging & Inclusive Practice Strategy, ensuring inclusive culture, equitable participation and accessible learning are embedded across Further Education, Higher Education and Apprenticeship provision.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of the Belonging & Inclusive Practice Strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership for SEND, inclusion, belonging, accessible learning, workforce inclusion, quality enhancement and industry partnerships.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to improve outcomes for learners and staff.
- A SENCO qualification or extensive equivalent specialist expertise.
- GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
- Significant leadership experience within post‑16 education, with experience of leading organisational change and strategic development.
- Experience across FE, HE or Apprenticeships, quality enhancement, workforce EDI, or employer engagement is desirable.
- Strong strategic understanding of SEND, inclusion and accessible practice, with a sound understanding of Ofsted, OfS and SEND policy frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a strong understanding of learner participation, belonging and support for vulnerable learners.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive culture where belonging, accessibility and equitable participation are embedded across the organisation.
- Funded professional qualifications, including a personal growth allowance of £400 annually, paid for professional qualifications, Linked In Learning access and annual CPD.
