Social Finance is seeking a Learning & Development Administrator to join the IPS Grow Workforce Team. This role is focused on ensuring the smooth delivery of the Level 3 IPS Qualification and 12-month onboarding programme, providing administrative, coordination and project support to learners, managers, trainers and the wider workforce team. The postholder will help maintain high-quality learning provision, support workforce development initiatives, and contribute to the expansion of IPS services across England.
RoleAs the Learning & Development Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering learning and development programmes, supporting learners throughout their qualification journey, and ensuring training activities are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across IPS Grow to manage learner records, schedule teaching sessions, monitor programme progress, support quality assurance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. The role also provides broader administrative support across the Workforce Team and offers the opportunity to develop skills in learning administration, project coordination, data analysis and workforce development.
Learning and Training Administration:
- Provide end-to-end administrative support for learners completing the Level 3 IPS Qualification and onboarding programme.
- Act as the first point of contact for learner queries and provide guidance and support.
- Coordinate learner registrations, attendance tracking, assessments and completion records.
- Maintain accurate learner records using databases, systems and spreadsheets.
- Schedule qualification teaching sessions and support trainers and assessors.
- Prepare materials, learner communications and documentation.
- Support internal and external quality assurance processes and compliance requirements.
- Assist with the facilitation of online teaching sessions, including managing chats, discussions and breakout rooms.
Programme Coordination and Project Support:
- Support the ongoing management and delivery of the Level 3 IPS Qualification.
- Monitor learner progress, milestones and deadlines.
- Assist with workforce development and learning improvement projects.
- Coordinate induction sessions, workshops, learning events and review meetings.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take notes and follow up on actions.
Data, Reporting and Quality Support:
- Collect and maintain data on learner participation, progress, outcomes and feedback.
- Produce reports and summaries to support workforce planning and quality assurance.
- Support evaluation activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organisational data protection policies and procedures.
Wider Workforce Team Support:
- Support workforce initiatives including recruitment, onboarding and development projects.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues across IPS Grow and Social Finance.
- Contribute to additional projects and team priorities as required.

Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

- Desirable experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Slack.
Communication
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress effectively.
- Confident interacting with learners, colleagues and external partners.
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative support role.
- Ideally experience within a learning, training or education environment.
- Interest in learning and development, workforce development or programme coordination.
