Important information about training gradesPlease note that the grade/s advertised are the grade/s at post start date. This means that applicants must be eligible to train at the advertised grade/s at the start date of the post.
Please be aware that trainees are not permitted to repeat training for the purposes of taking up a CL post and trainees are not permitted to start at a grade that is not advertised.
As an example, if a post is advertised at ST3 grade, then a current ST3 trainee who is on track to become an ST4 trainee at the post start date would NOT under any circumstances be permitted to take up the CL post at ST3 grade as this would entail repeating training that has already been completed. If you are in receipt of an ARCP at the grade you are applying to, you will not be eligible for that grade.
If you are in any doubt as to your eligibility, please submit a query via our applicant enquiries portal below.
