As the School Welfare Officer, you will be responsible for managing the school's welfare room, providing first aid and medical support to students, maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring students receive appropriate care throughout the school day. You will also support the school's wider health, wellbeing and safeguarding provision.

The school takes a holistic approach to student development and is committed to removing barriers to learning by promoting equality, inclusion and student wellbeing. Staff are highly supportive, and further training, including Health & Safety qualifications, will be provided.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Level 2 First Aid qualification or experience providing first aid.
  • Experience supporting minor medical needs, ideally within a school, healthcare or childcare setting.
  • Calm, caring and professional approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider pastoral team.
