We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to support high‑quality, multiprofessional clinical placements across CLCH. The post holder will coordinate and support the quality assurance of clinical placements, ensuring high standards of learning, supervision, and student support.

• Coordinate and manage clinical placement allocations across the Trust in partnership with the Clinical Placement Facilitator.
• Support the delivery of clinical placements that meet regulatory and educational requirements and provide high‑quality learning environments.
• Act as a key point of contact between the Trust, AEIs, placement providers, students and other stakeholders.
• Support the development of interprofessional learning opportunities and patient pathway placements across sectors, aligned to the Neighbourhood Health approach.
• Monitor student placement capacity and identify current and future placement requirements across the Trust.
• Organise, support and evaluate student induction programmes, gather and report on placement feedback.
• Support students in raising concerns and assist staff in developing new learning opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with clinical staff and AEIs to identify and address practice learning issues.
• Manage and maintain learning resources for nursing and Allied Health Professional (AHP) students.
• Maintain and monitor the SSSA and AHP Practice Educator registers.
• Support Practice Assessor capacity and, when required, escalated complex student situations.
• Represent the Trust at Higher Education Institution (HEI) placement meetings and provide reports and updates to senior leaders.

• Professional registration (e.g., Registered Nurse or AHP).
• Active registration with the relevant professional body.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to further develop skills within scope of practice.
• Degree level education.
• Specialist knowledge in the assessment and supervision of learners in practice.
• Postgraduate qualification in clinical education, teaching and learning, supervision, or a related field.
• Formal teaching qualification and/or assessor/supervisor training.

• Experience in clinical practice and/or student placements / training environments.
• Supervising, assessing or mentoring students / trainees.
• Experience handling complex issues and situations.
• Ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive and contentious information.
• Ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
• Project management skills and ability to manage short‑term objectives with individuals outside one’s immediate responsibility.
• Ability to concentrate and maintain a high degree of accuracy; confident and effective, enthusiastic and energetic.
