Attendance Improvement Officer
Camden Learning is seeking a skilled and committed professional to join our team as an Attendance Improvement Officer. This important role focuses on working in partnership with schools to strengthen whole‑school approaches to attendance, supporting leaders and staff to develop and implement evidence‑informed strategies that improve outcomes for all pupils.
Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and support to schools on attendance improvement.
- Use data to identify priorities and design targeted interventions.
- Embed inclusive, sustainable practice that addresses barriers to attendance, particularly for vulnerable children.
- Work collaboratively with school leaders, staff and multi‑agency partners.
- Influence practice across a diverse education system to improve life chances for children.
- Experience of working with schools or multi‑agency services.
- Strong understanding of attendance and inclusion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement evidence‑based strategies.
£29,000 (actual salary for four day per week term‑time only - £41,400 FTE salary)
