This post offers opportunities both for teaching and assessment of students, as well as vital formational and pastoral work with them, in one of the most exciting theological institutions in the UK. We are particularly interested in candidates with a specialism in missiology who are able to teach across a wide range of subjects within this field, such as, but not limited to, mission, apologetics, evangelism, interfaith, church planting, and ecclesiology.

Responsibilities
  • Teach on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the College, primarily at the London Teaching Centre.
  • Assess student work, supervise BA and MA dissertations, and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Serve as a Formation Group Tutor, providing academic, pastoral, and ministerial support to students.
  • Support ordinands through placement engagement, formation, and vocational development.
  • Contribute to the College's worshipping community through leadership, preaching, and participation in residentials and teaching weeks.
  • Maintain an active research profile through publication, conferences, and ongoing professional development.
The ideal candidate
  • Proven experience and high standards in teaching Missiology at Diploma, BA level, and MA level.
  • PhD in field relevant for teaching specialism.
  • Prayerful passion for theology transforming people’s minds, lives and society.
  • Flexible, reliable self-starter who is able to collaborate and work well with others.
  • Strong inter-personal and pastoral skills.

  • Support for the training of men and women alongside each other for ordained, licensed lay and wider ministry.
