An Ofsted-rated 'Good' mixed comprehensive secondary school in Hornchurch is looking to appoint an ECT English Teacher to join their successful English department from September. • Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND, EAL and higher-attaining learners.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and contribute to school reporting.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Uphold the school's behaviour policy and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, CPD and wider school activities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or achieving QTS before September.
