We are seeking reliable Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers to join a large and thriving secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced education professionals, aspiring teachers, graduates, and individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning by supervising lessons and delivering pre-planned work across a range of subjects during teacher absences.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Supervise classes across a variety of subjects, ensuring students remain on task and engaged in learning.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and classroom activities.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies and expectations.
• Support students with their learning and encourage positive participation.
• Take registers and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Report back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes, student progress, and any issues arising.
