About the Role

As a Cover Tutor for Functional Skills Maths & English, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to groups of up to 12 learners, supporting individuals with a wide range of educational backgrounds, learning needs and abilities. You will use innovative teaching approaches, adaptive learning techniques and digital resources to make Maths and English relevant, accessible and enjoyable.

You will:

• Deliver Functional Skills Maths or English qualifications from Entry 1 to Level 2.
• Conduct initial assessments and use BKSB diagnostics to identify learner starting points.
• Develop and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
• Create engaging lesson plans that support learner progression and achievement.
• Motivate and inspire learners to reach their full potential.
