The team comprises of the Head of Immigration and Compliance who oversees the teams in both our York and London campuses, an International Visa and Compliance Manager and an International Visa and Compliance Advisor in our London campus, and an International Visa and Compliance Manager and an International Visa and Compliance Advisor in our York campus.
The roleWe are looking to appoint a full time International Visa & Compliance Advisor for our London campus. This will be a fixed-term opportunity (12-months). This role will provide in-person support to our international student body in the London campus. The role will play a crucial part in ensuring that UKVI compliance responsibilities are upheld and that the students have access to ongoing visa-related advice and support.
Keyrequirements
The successful candidate will have experience working in the Higher Education sector, preferably in the area of immigration and compliance. You will have a willingness to gain an understanding of UKVI rules, regulations and policies. You will also have the ability to interact with a wide variety of students from different backgrounds and so must have excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).

An essential part of this role will be to undertake responsibilities on the SMS system. In order to meet the UKVI requirements, we require this particular post holder to have British Citizenship, Permanent Residence/Indefinite Leave to remain, Settled or Pre-settled Status in the UK. As such, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Unfortunately this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship however we welcome your application if you are able to evidence right to work in the UK via an alternative route.
