Job Overview:- This school caters for students aged 11-16.
- Full-time, Monday
- Friday, Maths Teacher role. - Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to develop strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills while building confidence in Mathematics.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to support achievement and attainment.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all students are encouraged to succeed.
- Work collaboratively with the Mathematics department and wider school staff to share best practice and contribute to curriculum development.
- Support the wider life of the school through participation in enrichment activities, intervention sessions and school events where appropriate.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring students of all abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive department and wider school team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
