Functional Skills English TutorLocation: HMP BelmarshSalary: From £30,000 per annum plus £5,000 London WeightingContract: PermanentRole Overview We are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Functional Skills English Tutor to deliver high-quality English education within a custodial environment at HMP Belmarsh. As a Functional Skills English Tutor, you will deliver City & Guilds Functional Skills English qualifications from Entry Level 1 through to Level 2, helping learners develop the literacy skills, confidence and qualifications needed to progress into employment, further learning and successful rehabilitation.

Working within the Education, Skills & Work team, the Functional Skills English Tutor will create engaging, inclusive and learner-focused lessons for groups of up to 12 learners, supporting individuals with a wide range of educational backgrounds, abilities and additional learning needs.
