Your new companyHays Education are proud to be working with an Outstanding specialist creative arts college in East London to recruit an experienced and inspiring Head of Curriculum for Visual Arts. The college was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in January 2024 across all key areas, including Quality of Education, Leadership and Management, and Personal Development.

This exciting leadership opportunity will involve overseeing a diverse and successful Visual Arts curriculum area, including:

• Art & Design
• Film & Content Production
• Fashion Design
• Graphic Design
• Photography

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the curriculum area, ensuring high-quality teaching, outstanding learner outcomes and a first-class student experience for learners aged 16-19. The role includes approximately 10 hours of teaching per week, predominantly within Art & Design.

Initially offered on an interim basis to support a smooth handover with the current postholder, the organisation would also consider a temporary-to-permanent arrangement for an exceptional candidate.
