We are looking for a committed and adaptable Cover Vocational Tutor to join our Justice Services team. This is a unique opportunity to deliver meaningful learning that supports rehabilitation, builds confidence, and prepares learners for employment.

In this role, you will provide vital cover for vocational training, ensuring continuity of learning during staff absence while maintaining high-quality, engaging delivery. You will focus on practical skill development alongside employability, digital literacy, and personal growth.

What youll be doing

• Deliver engaging, hands-on vocational lessons across a range of disciplines
• Promote key employability skills such as teamwork, communication, and professionalism
• Embed digital literacy into teaching to prepare learners for modern workplaces
• Plan and adapt inclusive lessons to meet diverse needs, including low literacy and additional learning needs
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
• Use motivational and restorative approaches to build engagement, confidence, and participation
• Maintain strict tool security, inventory control, and health & safety standards
