1:1 Primary Tutor

1:1 Tutor for students based in South West and South London

Classroom Teachers Ltd are looking to recruit experienced tutors withSEN experience to work with students that are based in South West or South London.

1:1 Tutor positions run during term time only. We have continuous referrals all year round which we aim to fill as quick as possible. The hours of work are generally set each week (tutor and parent are able to liaise to find the best fit) and depending on the student the timings can be between 2-3hrs each day. You are also able to take on two students per day (15 hours per week each), making the hours full time.

Students are currently out of school due to various SEN/Medical needs or behaviour.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• SEN 1:1 Tutor
• Up to £40.00ph
• Long-term contract, temporary position
• Teaching Primary students with Special Educational needsor students currently not attending school for medical or behavioural reasons, on a 1:1 basis at home or at a local library or re intergrating into school settings
• Providing a stimulating & enjoyable learning environment
• Providing 1:1 sessions in core subjects depending on student and age
• Half termly reports on progress

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Hold a teaching qualification or have extensive tutoring experience
