Are you a Psychology graduate looking to build experience in education and SEND? This 1:1 Learning Support Assistant opportunity in Streatham starts in September and offers £120 per day within a highly regarded all-through academy serving pupils aged 4–18. - Approximately 22% of pupils receive SEN Support, while the school also hosts a specialist Speech, Language and Communication provision.
- The successful 1:1 Learning Support Assistant will ideally hold a Psychology degree or a related subject and have a genuine interest in SEND.
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with autism, speech and language needs or SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, resilience, patience and a proactive attitude are essential for any 1:1 Learning Support Assistant.
- Pupils achieve positive outcomes, with around 70% achieving Grade 4+ in English and Maths and an Attainment 8 score close to 50.
