  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to help students engage with learning and develop key skills.
  • Deliver targeted interventions focused on communication, confidence, independence and emotional regulation.
  • Use positive behaviour strategies to support students with their individual needs.
  • Adapt your approach to meet different learning profiles and respond to changing situations.
Requirements
  • A degree from a good university.
  • Strong A-Level results demonstrating good academic ability.
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, ideally within a school, youth, mentoring, care or similar setting.
  • Confident managing behaviour and providing consistent, positive support.

If you are a committed Specialist SEND TA looking to make a real impact within an ARP setting, we would love to hear from you.
