Role Overview

The Student Support Coordinator at SCCD Training will provide comprehensive support to our learners throughout their training journey. Acting as a primary point of contact, you will ensure students are engaged, motivated, and have access to all necessary resources to successfully complete their programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for student queries, providing guidance and timely support.
  • Monitor student attendance, progress, and wellbeing, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with academic and placement teams to facilitate smooth learner experiences.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to support students facing challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and support activities in the CRM system.
  • Organize orientation sessions, workshops, and wellbeing activities to enhance student engagement.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in student support, education, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Experience using CRM or student management systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of the UK education sector and teacher training pathways is an advantage.
