Employability Tutor About Us Our employment coaches have two key skills the ability to deliver 1-2-1 support to help people plan and reach their goals, and the ability to teach groups to help people gain skills to achieve their goals. Each role is 50/50 to ensure we continue to support people and deliver training that's fit for people's aspirations. Every coach has a core subject specialism they can teach and are qualified to deliver through numerous levels so we can offer progression to our customers.

Additionally, all coaches deliver a wide and varied curriculum around life skills, enrichment, wellbeing and employability all core to our curriculum. A Typical Day Carrying out initial assessments, using tools including Skills Builder and Unifrog, to help learners make informed decisions Delivering a rich employability programme, including NCFE qualifications and external enrichment activities and visits Working alongside the Employability Lead to ensure quality throughout the learner's programme Managing learners for their whole journey with us ensuring attendance, achievement and progression Reviewing progress and helping learners succeed through regular contact, proactive engagement and planned interventions Building relationships with local support services to ensure a full, holistic package of support, meeting all participant and EHCP needs Achieving targets to get people into work and supporting them and employers in doing so Completing learner records and monitoring reports, ensuring evidence is collated and stored in line with requirements Contributing to curriculum development across your subject areas, bringing innovation, energy and excitement to both subject matter and teaching style Taking responsibility for Quality Assurance of your teaching, welcoming others into the teaching setting to observe and get involved Planning, preparing, delivering and evaluating all sessions and courses you deliver Preparing plans, schemes of work and learning materials for each session, and maintaining them for monitoring or lesson observation Supporting the delivery of events, workshops and activities to increase opportunities for learners What We're Looking For Essential A willingness and ability to deliver courses beyond your primary area of expertise, with enthusiasm to adapt delivery to learners' needs An understanding of and/or experience working with SEND learners Qualification in Mentoring, Advice and Guidance or similar Comfortable delivering both 1-2-1 and group sessions L3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS) or Teaching qualification, and/or willingness to train towards this An understanding of the principles underpinning teaching young people, including planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation A genuine commitment to the personal and occupational success of learners Knowledge of funded projects including European Social Funded projects Ability to work as a team, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment A good understanding of the barriers faced by unemployed and inactive people, and how to help Ability to work collaboratively with others, in-team or with external support providers A positive, energised and enthusiastic person with a real zest for helping others engaging and supporting people is what gets you up every day, and nothing makes you happier than seeing someone progress Resilience working in education, support and employment is a challenging but rewarding career where you'll help bring real change to people's lives What We're Looking For Added Extras Qualifications in your subject specialism (Level
