Remedy Education are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school based in East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background or strong interest in Art who wants to support pupils within a school setting. The school are looking for someone patient, reliable and hands-on who can help students engage in creative lessons, build confidence and develop their artistic skills.

• Support pupils during Art lessons and creative activities
• Assist the class teacher with resources, displays and lesson preparation
• Work 1:1 and with small groups to encourage engagement and confidence
• Help pupils develop creative skills across drawing, painting, design and practical work
• Support students with additional needs where required
• Encourage positive behaviour and participation in lessons
• Help maintain a safe, organised and creative classroom environment

• A background or strong interest in Art, Design or Creative Arts
• Experience working with children or young people
• A patient, creative and positive approach
• Confidence supporting pupils of different abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• School, youth work, childcare or tutoring experience is desirable
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
