We are looking for a compassionate, resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary provision in North Finchley that supports children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a nurturing and highly structured environment for pupils who have found mainstream education challenging, helping them to rebuild confidence, develop positive relationships and re-engage with learning.

With small class sizes and a child-centred approach, the school places a strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing, therapeutic support and creating positive outcomes for every pupil. Staff work closely together to ensure each child receives the individual support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

Your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs across the primary age range
• Promoting positive behaviour through consistency, patience and strong relationships
• Supporting pupils with their academic learning, emotional regulation and social development
