Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff LTD is hiring an active Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a secondary school in East London.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will assist teachers in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities. This full-time Learning Support Assistant position offers excellent career progression and stable pay rates.
Key Tasks:- Deliver targeted academic and routine guidance to students, 1-on-1 or in small groups.
- Assist the teacher by adapting learning materials to student targets.
- Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.
- Track, monitor, and report student progress to teachers and specialists.
- Proven experience or relevant training as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
- Deep knowledge of secondary curriculum subjects and classroom management.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.
- Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
- Reliable daily pay via framework guidelines.
- Dedicated consultant guidance throughout your placement.
