Daily Supply Teacher – Brent

Teach Now is recruiting confident Primary Supply Teachers to work across our network of schools in Brent. Brent’s schools serve energetic and culturally rich communities, making this a rewarding area for teachers who enjoy meeting new pupils, working with different teams and bringing stability to the classroom from the moment they arrive. You choose the days you are available. We will match you with suitable assignments based on your preferred year groups, experience and travel arrangements.
ATypical Assignment
- Arrive promptly and familiarise yourself with school procedures
- Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Set clear expectations and establish positive relationships quickly
- Support pupils with SEND and English as an additional language
- Work effectively with the class teaching assistant
- Complete marking or feedback requested by the school
- Leave a useful written or verbal handover for the returning teacher
- Report safeguarding or welfare concerns immediately
- A qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Experienced in teaching the English primary curriculum
- Adaptable, confident and comfortable entering unfamiliar classrooms
- Skilled in positive behaviour management
- Inclusive in your teaching and able to support varied levels of attainment
- Dependable, punctual and professionally presented
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Able to provide two recent professional references
- In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply
- ECTs with sufficient school-based experience and strong references are welcome to apply.

- Experience different schools without committing to a long‑term contract
- Build local relationships that can lead to repeat bookings
- Maintain classroom experience while balancing family, study or other commitments
- Access both mainstream and SEND opportunities
- Receive advance bookings where available, alongside optional same‑day work
