. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, supporting students’ learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Roles are full-time, term-time only, and available to start September 2026.

Responsibilities for Science Graduate Teaching Assistant include:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom learning.
• Support the development of students’ academic skills, as well as their social and emotional growth.
• Provide targeted support to students one-to-one, in small groups, and across the whole class, including those with additional learning needs.
• Support classroom behaviour management and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare and organise learning resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement effective learning strategies.

About you:

• Educated to degree level in anyscience subject
• Have previous experience within a school or other education related experience.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
• Have knowledge and experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
• School based experience preferred but not essential.
