This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist independent provision in Forest Gate where you'll receive full training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) while making a genuine difference to children's learning, communication and independence.

Whether you have experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker, Psychology Graduate or have supported children in another setting, this role offers the chance to develop specialist skills within one of the UK's most rewarding areas of SEND education.

The Role Working alongside experienced ABA Consultants, Teachers and Therapists, you'll deliver structured one-to-one support tailored to each child's individual learning programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personalised ABA and Verbal Behaviour programmes
  • Supporting children to develop communication, social interaction and independence
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating every achievement
  • Recording progress and contributing to individual learning plans
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families
  • Helping to create a calm, engaging and nurturing learning environment No previous ABA experience is required-full training and ongoing support will be provided.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

Understands the principles of the 2015 SEND Code of Practice

Holds an NVQ Level 2/3, RBT qualification, Psychology degree or similar (or is working towards one)

Has experience working with children through schools, nurseries, tutoring, youth work or care settings

Is organised, patient and eager to learn

Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is happy to obtain one)

Is committed to safeguarding and professional standards

Is happy to work within the ethos and values of an independent Christian school
