GSL Education London Branch is looking for an experienced Maths/Computer Science Teacher to join an independent secondary school for boys in Lewisham from September 2026. As a Maths/Computer Science Teacher
, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Computer Science lessons across secondary year groups.
• Teach lessons that are well structured, challenging and accessible to students of different abilities.
• Use a range of teaching methods to encourage students to participate and develop their confidence.
• Assess students' work and monitor their progress, providing useful feedback to support improvement.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and effort.
• Create a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Support students in developing strong mathematical, digital and problem-solving skills.
• Work closely with colleagues to contribute to effective curriculum planning and student development.
• Take an active role in the wider life of the school.

• Proven experience teaching both Mathematics and Computer Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Computer Science.
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
• A positive, enthusiastic and professional approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
