Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a school in Mitcham to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant for a full-time role within a Primary or Early Years setting
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong SEN/SEND and SEMH experience who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Supporting pupils within a Primary or Early Years SEN setting
• Assisting children with a range of needs including SEN, SEND, and SEMH
• Providing 1:1 and small group support inside and outside the classroom
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated activities
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
• Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
• Assisting with the implementation of EHCP targets and support strategies
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
• Full-time role with immediate or September start available

• Experience working with SEN/SEND or SEMH pupils
• Experience with in a Primary, Early Years, or SEN setting
• Strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may be available at a later date.
