Learning support assistant-East

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants on behalf of several colleges and sixth forms across East London. These are ongoing temporary opportunities for individuals passionate about supporting students with additional learning needs and helping them achieve their educational goals.Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in classroom settings across a range of subjects and levels.
• Assist students with learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional support needs to access the curriculum effectively.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning activities.
• Monitor and record student progress, attendance, and the effectiveness of support provided.
• Support students' emotional, social, and pastoral needs while promoting positive behaviour.
• Work closely with lecturers and support staff to implement learning strategies and reasonable adjustments.
• Reinforce learning by helping students practise and develop skills taught during lessons.
• Accompany students on educational visits and support participation in college activities where required.
