About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lecturer & Assessor to join a vibrant and supportive Further Education team in West London.

In this dual-focused role, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years qualifications, while also training, assessing, and monitoring Work-Based Learning (WBL) students and Apprentices within the workplace to ensure occupational competence.

Key Responsibilities
Teach and deliver engaging sessions across Level 1 to Level 3 courses, including T Levels (Early Years Educator and Assisting Teaching pathways).

Assess WBL learners and Apprentices in the workplace against national standards.

Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track achievement across full study programmes.

Maintain high standards of quality assurance in line with awarding body (NCFE) guidelines.

Build and nurture strong working relationships with local Early Years employers.

About You
We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong, recent industry experience in both Early Years Education and Care.

Essential Requirements:

Qualifications:

Minimum Level 3 NVQ/VRQ in Early Years or Teaching Assistant (a relevant Degree is highly desirable).

Assessing

Qualification:

Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), A1, or equivalent.

Teaching

Qualification:

Level 5 FE-recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DET, Cert Ed).

Experience:

Proven experience teaching and assessing Early Years qualifications within an FE or training provider setting, alongside recent practical workplace experience.
