Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting learners with additional needs to achieve their full potential? We are recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across Further Education settings in South East London starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience supporting learners with SEND, or those who have transferable skills from education, care, youth work, or support environments.

Pay Rate is £15.5 - £17 per hour.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping learners access their education, develop independence and achieve their individual learning goals. You will support young people and adults with a range of additional learning needs, both in and outside of the classroom.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality, person-centred support to learners with SEND.
• Supporting learners to engage with lessons, college activities and wider services.
• Assisting learners in developing study skills, confidence and independence.
• Supporting learners with EHCP outcomes and individual learning targets.
