Location: West London

Salary: 31,000 - 36,000 pro rata

Contract: Full-time or Part-time Term-time

Are you a BSL Level 3+ qualified Communication Support Worker looking for a rewarding role supporting deaf and hard of hearing students?

We are recruiting Communication Support Workers to join an FE setting, helping students access their learning and achieve their potential.

• Provide BSL/communication support in the classroom.
• Support deaf and hard of hearing students with their learning.
• Adapt learning materials and curriculum content.
• Work closely with teaching and support staff.
• Support students with EHCPs and monitor progress.
• Promote deaf awareness across the college.
• Support students during trips, visits and wider activities.

You’ll need:

• BSL Level 3 minimum

• Strong signing skills.
• Experience supporting deaf/hard of hearing people
  .
• Ideally, experience within an education setting
  .
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A flexible and student-focused approach.
