SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Bellingham, LewishamStart Date: Sept 26 - July 27 Contract: 4 days per weekSalary: £90-112.90 per day, increasing after 12 weeks
About the Role: SANZA Teaching Agency is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lewisham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young learners with special educational needs and is committed to providing tailored support to help them thrive.
SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children ages EYFS - Year 3 with additional needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
- Help deliver structured and sensory-based activities to engage and support the learning of students with Global Delay, Speech and language difficulties, ASD & ADHD
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the children's emotional, social, and academic development.
- Monitor student progress and communicate with staff and parents regarding their development.
