We are seeking a dynamic, empathetic, and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary therapy team. You will be based at OQA satellite provision at Fulham Cross Academy, Kingwood Road, SW6. You will work under the guidance of our Principal SaLT and the wider SaLT Team to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based, autism-specific interventions for our pupils. You will collaborate closely with teaching staff, families, and professionals to create personalised learning and communication plans that support every child’s educational journey, and you will have regular peer and clinical supervision onsite.

The

Successful Candidate Will Have
  • A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification.
  • HCPC registration and commitment to CPD (in line with RCSLT guidance).
  • Experience working with autistic children and young people, ideally within a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of autism-specific communication strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  • A passion for inclusive education and a child-centred approach.
About Our Academy

Ormiston Queens mill Academy is a well-established autism specific school. Although we acknowledge the complex needs which are associated with autism, we celebrate our pupils’ differences and uniqueness and we put our children and young people at the centre of our practice. Staff at OQA are highly trained in autism and we commit a significant proportion of our annual budget to training and maintaining staff knowledge and resources so that children and young people with autism can learn in an environment that understands and is suited to them.
