SEN Teacher

* London (Multiple Locations)

 * £155 - £235 per day / MPS-UPS (Dependent on Experience)

Are you a dedicated SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity in London?

We are working with a range of specialist schools, SEN provisions, alternative provisions, and mainstream schools with specialist resource bases across London. Due to increasing demand, we are looking to connect with passionate and experienced SEN Teachers who are committed to helping children and young people reach their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning styles and abilities.

You may work with students with:

* Autism (ASC)

* SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)

* ADHD

* Speech and Language Needs

* Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties

* Complex Needs

* Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

* EHCPs and additional support requirements

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons.

Adapt learning to meet the individual needs of pupils.

Track progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting.

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents, and external professionals.

Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).

Experience working with pupils with SEN, either within specialist or mainstream settings.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Knowledge of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach.
