River bridge Primary School is a three-form entry school which enjoys a diverse catchment, a vibrant community and a strong team spirit. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative individual who can bring high quality support to children in Early Years Foundation Stage. We are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant who has a passion for creating life-long learners, who can be flexible and support learning in a creative way. We are recruiting an EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant for 32.5 hours per week, 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday, term time plus one week (38 weeks per year).
This is a permanent position. We are looking for the right candidate to join our team.
- Experience working within SEND and has a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High level of personal and emotional resilience
- Lots of patience
- Capacity to be flexible
- Ability and confidence to use initiative whilst respecting advice from professionals
- A team of staff committed to supporting you
- Opportunities to attend training with other Teaching Assistants in local schools
- Opportunities to study for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Support for those that wish to further their career in teaching
