A typical week could include

Leading whole-class, small-group, or 1:1 sessions for pupils with SEMH and complex needs
Designing schemes of work adapted to the emotional and cognitive profiles of the cohort
Building trusted relationships with pupils who've disengaged from mainstream education
Working within specialist teams using restorative and therapeutic approaches

What You'll Need

Qualified Teacher Status, statutory induction complete
Enhanced DBS with children's barred list
DBS Update Service registration
Level 2 Safeguarding certificate
Two phone-verified professional references
Right to work in the UK
APCS prohibition check

Even better if you have

SEMH, PRU, or AP teaching experience
Small-group or 1:1 curriculum design
Team Teach, Thrive, or PACE training
SEND leadership or NASENCO qualification
