We are looking for a passionate and experienced Pre-Sessional and In-Sessional Academic Advisor to support the success of our international student community through the delivery of high-quality pre-sessional and in-sessional academic development programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver engaging teaching, workshops, and one-to-one academic support that supports students develop the academic literacies, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in UK higher education.

Working collaboratively across the University, you will contribute to curriculum development, student transitions, academic success initiatives, and the enhancement of the overall student experience., We value diversity and strive to create a fairer, more equitable work environment for our staff and students.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), academic skills, or related provision within a higher education environment, together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You will be confident supporting diverse student cohorts, developing inclusive learning resources, and using evidence and data to enhance student outcomes.

You will be committed to innovative, student-centred practice and keen to contribute to scholarship, professional development, and cross-university partnerships that support international student success.
