Gants Hill, Redbridge, UK is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school. This long‑term role starts in September 2026 and offers a strong possibility of continuing throughout the academic year. The ideal candidate can support pupils independently, manage pupil relationships professionally, and help students access the classroom without adding pressure to teachers.
What the role involves- Supporting pupils with SEN, EHCPs, ASD or SEMH needs
- Working across lessons with teachers and support staff
- Helping pupils stay focused and regulated
- Providing consistent classroom and small group support
- School‑based support experience or strong transferable experience
- A calm, mature and reliable approach
- Confidence supporting secondary‑aged pupils
- Someone who can follow direction but also use initiative
Pay: £90 - £110 per day
