A welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking an English Graduate to join on an immediate, full-time, long-term basis until July 2027, with strong potential for extension.

£444–£513 weekly via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

• Immediate start on a long-term contract until July 2027 with potential extension

• Opportunities to build meaningful relationships with KS1 and KS2 pupils while seeing their progress throughout the year
• Specialist training in phonics, guided reading and literacy intervention programmes
• Weekly CPD focused on SEND, safeguarding and effective classroom practice

• Delivering targeted reading, writing and literacy interventions across KS1 and KS2
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils requiring additional guidance
• Supporting children with SEND to access learning and develop communication skills
• Working closely with teachers to monitor progress and celebrate pupil achievement

• Hold an English-related degree from a leading UK university
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess strong child-centred experience working with young people
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, patience and a genuine passion for improving children's literacy
