Maths / Science Learning Support Assistant
A Good Secondary School in London are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with a strong background in Maths or Science to join their supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced LSA with a strong academic background in Maths, Science, Chemistry, Biology or Physics
.
You will work closely with classroom teachers to support students across KS3 and KS4, providing targeted one-to-one and small-group support. You will help students develop their confidence and understanding of Maths or science while encouraging positive engagement with learning.
The successful candidate will be patient, proactive and able to build strong relationships with students, adapting their approach to meet individual learning needs.
Skills andQualifications:
- Strong academic background in Maths or Science
- Degree or relevant qualification in Maths, Science or a related subject desirable
- Experience working with children or young people desirable
- Ability to support students on a one-to-one and small-group basis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Patient, supportive and adaptable approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed
- Enthusiastic about Maths and/or Science
