Teach Now is recruiting dependable teaching assistants to provide flexible cover in primary schools across the borough. You could be supporting a class one day, working with an intervention group the next or providing focused assistance to a pupil with SEN.

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Assist teachers during lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support.
• Help pupils remain focused, engaged and confident.
• Support children with additional educational needs where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and respectful relationships.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom routines.

You will ideally have:

• Previous school, childcare or education experience.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification, although strong experience will also be considered.
• Confidence working with primary-aged children.
• Patience and good communication skills.
• A professional and dependable attitude.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and the right to work in the UK.

• Ensure that you will have your own dedicated consultant who will provide ongoing support and guidance.
• Offer an excellent refer a friend scheme that pays you £150 for each candidate you refer to us after they have worked and been paid for their first 10 days.
• Pay in line with the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) meaning you will be paid equally to a permanent employee.
• Give you access to a wide range of CPD training through our in-house team of experienced senior leaders
