Music Teacher - Secondary SEMH School | September Start

Remedy Education is working with a secondary SEMH school in Leyton that is looking for a Music Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a great opportunity for a Music Teacher who enjoys working with young people and understands how powerful music can be when it comes to building confidence, encouraging self-expression and getting students engaged in education.

The school works with students who may have struggled in mainstream settings and provides a more structured and supportive environment. You'll be teaching Music across the secondary age range, with plenty of scope to make lessons practical, creative and relevant to the students you are working with.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Creating practical lessons that encourage students to get involved
• Teaching a range of musical styles, instruments and techniques
• Supporting students with composition, performance and music technology where appropriate
