Smart Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in North East London from September.
The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' computational thinking, programming skills and understanding of digital technologies. RequirementsThe successful Computer Science Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Have excellent subject knowledge, including programming and computational thinking.
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire learners.
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and high expectations for student achievement.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
